About Me

Welcome to my blog!

My name is Brittany Kiser, and I am a high school math teacher in Michigan.  I have been teaching since I graduated with from Taylor University in 2012 with a Mathematics Education degree.

Aside from spending time with my husband, most of my free time is spent creating resources to help my students gain confidence and have fun with math.  As a Title I math teacher, I get to work with the students who are struggling the most in our school.  For me, I see this as an opportunity to witness immense growth in students!  Students come into my classroom when they have fallen behind their peers in a regular math class, and by this point, these students have already given up on math.  In my class, they have the opportunity to gain confidence, relearn basic skills, and become leaders!  I love being a part of this journey for students.
